Notes
At various times in the early years of the league the President of the MCC was referred to as the football club president. The names above are only Melbourne Football Club Presidents.
Vernon Ransford acted as president for a time in 1938.
Les Miller served as acting secretary in May 1957.
Richard Seddon was the first man to be referred to as an Executive Secretary after taking over when the Demons broke away from the MCG.
Ray Manley served as Secretary/Adminstration Manager from 1980 to 1984. The position was downgraded in favour of a General Manager
Most sources say Amos Norcott was secretary in 1899, but it was actually GW Lamb.
