Glen Bartlett

Glen Bartlett DOB: 10 June 1964

President of Melbourne from August 2013 to early 2021, Bartlett had previously been a WAFL player with East Perth and appeared in four games for West Coast in 1987. He was dropped from the Eagles' list in 1988 and returned to East Perth. He sued the Eagles after he was delisted, arguing he had a three year contract. The Brisbane Bears drafted him during 1990 but Bartlett didn't join them.

In 2010, Bartlett moved to Melbourne and started a three year term as Managing Partner of the firm Clayton Utz. In July that year he joined the Melbourne board, and succeeded Don McLardy as club President in 2013.

Resigned from the role in early 2021 and was replaced by Kate Roffey. In 2022, Bartlett launched defamation proceedings against the club and its senior leaders. In 2024 he also initiated defamation proceedings against the AFL. Both matters were resolved in late 2024.
