Small forward/midfielder and son of former North Melbourne player Paul Spargo. Previously in the Greater Western Sydney academy zone before it was realigned.
His grandfather Bob played 80 games for Footscray, and his great grandfather, also named Bob played two games with Melbourne in 1942. His great uncle was former Footscray player Ricky Spargo.
Played 14 games in his debut season, including the club's three finals. Had a disappointing 2019, going goalless until Round 10 and only kicking two for the season. By the end of the year he found himself in defence.
