From: Glen Iris/Scotch College/Oakleigh U18, Selection 10, 2000 Pre-Season Draft

After four games with the Oakleigh Chargers, Gill spent most of 2000 playing school football for Scotch. A mobile, marking forward he was drafted by Melbourne at the end of that year under the proviso that he needed to work harder on his kicking. Gill played seven games for six goals at Sandringham and was assigned number 40 for the Demons but never played a senior match.

After being delisted by Melbourne at the end of 2001 he joined Port Melbourne in the VFL, and was rookie listed by North Melbourne in 2003 before being delisted again.

Gill crossed to the SANFL to play for North Adelaide in 2004, and in 2006 was drafted by Adelaide. He played 17 games over three seasons with the Crows - though only one in his last - before being delisted at the end of 2009.

He returned to North Adelaide after being dumped by the Crows, but a budding radio career took him to Cairns at the end of 2011, ending his SANFL career. He then joined the Cairns Saints in the local competition. Later worked on radio in Newcastle.
