This draft provided a high level of quality, albeit without the quantity. Scott Thompson has gone on to be a club leader and almost a top line midfielder. Darren Jolly has since become one of the best ruckmen in the comp and a premiership player. Unfortunately, none of these exploits occured at the Melbourne football club.
