A fiery character who had been reprimanded for abusive language, suspended two weeks for more language, three weeks for striking and four for throwing his mouthguard at an umpire before he'd even left the Under 19s.
Debuted in a draw against Sydney but played just one more senior game. He was assigned number 36 in 1993 and 1994 but suffered from injuries and didn't play a senior match either year.
He joined Fitzroy for two years in 1995 and 1996. After debuting for the Demons in a draw, the last 20 games of Lamb's career were losses. He is the only player since 1952 to play more than 20 career games without ever having a victory.
Also wore number 56 in 1990 Reserves games and number 60 in 1991.
His son Tom played one game for West Coast in 2015.
