The former St Kilda Under 19s utility appeared in seven of the last eight games in the 1978 season after joining from VFA side Springvale, but was dropped from the senior list during the 1979 pre-season. Returned to Springvale where he remained through 1983.
His last appearance in a Melbourne jumper was as one of Melbourne's representatives in the 1978 Grand Final Mile race along with Kelvin Richards.
