Career Statistics
After four games with the Oakleigh Chargers, Gill spent most of 2000 playing school football for Scotch College. A mobile, marking forward he was drafted by Melbourne at the end of that year under the proviso that he needed to work harder on his kicking. Gill played seven games for six goals at Sandringham but was delisted at the end of the year.
In 2002 he joined Port Melbourne in the VFL, and was rookie listed by North Melbourne in 2003 before being delisted again.
Gill crossed to the SANFL to play for North Adelaide in 2004, and in 2006 was drafted by Adelaide. He played 17 games over three seasons with the Crows - though only one in his last - before being delisted a third and final time at the end of 2009.
He returned to North Adelaide after being dumped by the Crows, but a budding radio career took him to Cairns at the end of 2011, ending his SANFL career. As he moved for work Gill played for Cairns Saints in 2012, North Hobart in 2013, Uni Blacks in the South Australian Amateurs in 2014 and 2015, then Newcastle City in 2016.
