The brother of Rick Feldmann won the Reserves Best and Fairest in his debut senior season, and played 18 games the next year. Torn ankle ligaments in Round 6, 1969 kept him out until Round 18, restricting him to six games. The defender returned for 15 games the next season.
Feldmann missed all of 1971 and despite remaining on Melbourne's list into early 1972, then appeared for three games with St Kilda that year. He returned to serve on the committee until resigning in 1979.
