Brad Gotch

DOB: 23 June 1962

The smallest player in the VFL in his time Gotch played 43 games for Fitzroy and 53 for St Kilda between 1982 and 1990 - winning the Gardiner Medal for Best and Fairest in the Reserves in 1987 despite only playing eight games. He had spent 1985 in the SANFL with Port Adelaide between his two VFL stints.

Moved into coaching and was at the helm of the Springvale (later Casey) Scorpions in 1996 and 1997, winning a premiership in his first season. He coached the VFA representative team against the ACTAFL in 1997.

He was senior coach of Williamstown from 2002 to 2009, and took his side to the finals six times. The Seagulls won their 2003 flag under his tutelage. He also spent two years as the Bulldogs Development Manager, then served as a development and assistant coach at Collingwood when they aligned with Williamstown.

In October 2009 Gotch was appointed coach of Casey Demons, to replace Peter German who had left to take up a developmental role with Western Bulldogs.

Gotch resigned at the end of 2011 to join Port Adelaide as an Assistant Coach. He stayed there until October 2013 when he was announced as the coach of SANFL side South Adelaide.
