Peter German

DOB: 2 February 1965

North Melbourne player for 185 games from 1984 to 1994 before retiring and moving to Tasmania to coach Burnie.

He later joined Hawthorn as an Assistant and also worked at West Coast before becoming senior coach of Subiaco, who he led to the 2004 and 2006 WAFL premierships - earning him a role as an assistant at Fremantle under Chris Connolly.

Coached Casey Demons to the VFL finals in the first year of the Melbourne/Casey alignment. He took them to the finals, but saw his side beaten heavily by Collingwood after Melbourne withdrew a number of senior players from the squad.

After the finals loss he resigned to take up a development role with Western Bulldogs, also senior coaching job their VFL affiliate Williamstown.
