Speedy winger who represented the VFL against Ballarat in 1921 and Bendigo in 1922.

Anthony was cleared to Seymour before the 1925 VFL season before reappearing with St Kilda for two games in 1926. Cleared to Prahran in June 1928 and played tehre for two seasons.

During World War I he served in the Army and RAAF, and served on the recruiting committee of Sandringham in 1941.
