Secretary Jim Cardwell swapped Mike Collins to South Adelaide for Colin and his older cousin Michael, who was already a star in the SANFL. He expected Michael to play first, but clearance issues meant he never came to Victoria. Colin played two Under 19s and two Reserves games before being promoted to the senior side.

A left foot rover/half forward with a long kick, Graham goalled from 60 metres out with a strong breeze to give Melbourne the lead in an exciting last quarter at Moorabbin in Round 9, 1977.

After five senior and two Reserves games in 1978 he moved back to South Australia in June, citing homesickness and unsuccessfully sought a clearance to Norwood. Trained with Fitzroy in the 1979 pre-season but they didn’t bid for him and Graham was instead cleared to ACT club Belconnen. Graham joined Woodville in 1980 and also played for Sturt in 1985.

Notes
This article says he played six combined reserves/U19s games.

Most sources don't list him as being from South Adelaide. He may never have played with them but they may have held his playing rights to swap to the Demons. Also played some juniors with Central Districts but it's not clear in which order.

May have also played for Kyabram.
