Winger and midfielder who debuted for the Lions in 1951 and played three years before joining Melbourne in 1954. He'd originally trained with South Melbourne that year, before changing his mind and joining the Demons.

In a Seconds game before Round 15, 1954, Magee suffered a severe concussion and a fractured cheekbone. His assailant was suspended for eight games, and he didn't play another senior game.

Magee joined VFA side Caulfield in 1955.
