Chris Fagan

Fagan played 275 games in Tasmania for Hobart, Sandy Bay and Devonport over 14 years before moving into coaching. He was an assistant in two premierships at North Hobart in 1991 and 1992 before landing his first senior role back at Sandy Bay the next year.

He spent two seasons with them before becoming the coach of the Tassie Mariners in the Under 18s competition, where he was in charge of future Demons Ben Beams and Russell Robertson. They both joined the club after Fagan became Melbourne's Reserves coach in 1998, and was responsible for the club signing Beams and Robertson. In 2000 he became forward coach, serving in the role until the end of 2004. In 2005 became GM - Football Operations, serving until the end of 2007 before joining Hawthorn as Head of Coaching and Development in 2008. Fagan served until June 2013 when he was named acting General Manager - Football Operations, and was elevated to the role permanently at the end of the season.

Fagan became coach of Brisbane in 2017, taking them to a Grand Final in 2023.

He is a member of the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame.
