1888 player.

Also a well-known cyclist and played cricket for Richmond, where he lived for the last 40 years of his life. Also worked as a mason on Melbourne buildings including Carlyon's Hotel and Manchester Unity Hall, as well as several churches.

Died aged 60 of a heart complaint. Full name William Francis.
