Ernest Howes

DOB: Unknown
Died: Unknown

From: Port Melbourne

"Towser" Howes played from 1891 to 1894 after one season with Port Melbourne. He was arrested - along with teammate Robert Gibson - for breaching the peace on the club's 1892 tour of Adelaide. The club found that the damage to their hotel room was due to a 'practical joke'.

Notes
There is some suggestion that the incident ended his time at the club, but the MFC cleared he and Gibson upon their return to Victoria.
