Centreman/rover who played for the Demons in a 1945 Exhibition match against St Kilda in Bendigo and appeared in six Reserves games. He trained with the team again in 1946 but didn't appear in any senior games.
Returning to Rochester he was the champion player of the Bendigo League in 1947 and 1950, remaining there through at least 1959 and playing 313 games during his career. In 1986 Zegelin was voted into the Bendigo League Hall of Fame.
