Rohan Welsh

DOB: 7 October 1970

Casey Demons coach 2013 and 2014 who was replaced after the side finished second last. They made the finals and finished fourth in his first year but were knocked out in two straight games.

Originally drafted by Essendon, Welsh couldn't break out of their Reserves side and moved to VFA side Dandenong where he was the league's top goalkicker.

He returned to the AFL with Carlton in 1992 and played 42 games for them until including the 1993 Grand Final loss to Essendon. Despite injuring his knee falling off a fence during the end of season trip and missing two full seasons he was retained on the playing list and returned to the side in 1996.

After being delisted at the end of 1997 Welsh played with Frankston, then Assistant Coached Calder Cannons from 2002 to 2004.

He then joined Oakleigh and coached them to the 2006 TAC Cup premiership, staying with the Chargers until the end of 2008, after which he joined the Victoria Metro team as their Under-18 Academy Head Coach.

Welsh's father John played nine games for Essendon between 1961 and 1963.
