Recruited as a free agent before the 2024 season, Beasley finished college basketball commitments before joining Melbourne. She had previously played football as a junior before concentrating on basketball from 2018. Beasley played at Midland College (2018-2020), the University of Washington (2020-2021), then Montana University (2022), and Northern Arizona (2023-2024) in her final year of college eligibility.
Beasley had first come to the attention of Melbourne recruiter Todd Patterson while playing basketball alongside future Demon Tegan Cunningham at Waverley Falcons.
