Recruited as a free agent before the 2024 season, Beasley finished college basketball commitments before joining Melbourne. She had previously played football as a junior before concentrating on basketball from 2018. Beasley played at Midland College (2018-2020), the University of Washington (2020-2021), then Montana University (2022), and Northern Arizona (2023-2024) in her final year of college eligibility. Beasley had first come to the attention of Melbourne recruiters while playing basketball alongside future Demon Tegan Cunningham at Waverley Falcons.
In training before Round 4, Beasley suffered a season ending knee injury.
