Career statistics

Kenneth Owen Evans was rejected by Melbourne after the 1935 pre-season, instead joining South Melbourne. He played one senior game late that season, and despite a pre-season attempt to get his amateur status back and join Elsternwick, appeared in a Grand Final for the Swans in 1936. Also played at Flinders Naval Depot in 1937, but remained at South until crossing to VFA side Coburg in early 1941.

Evans served as a private in the Army (11 RFTS 2/5 Battalion) during World War II between June 1941 and June 1942. In 1947 he played for the City club in Tasmania.
