Corrigan played for South Barwon and Geelong VFL before serving in a number of roles at Essendon. He was scheduled to be their VFL coach in 2020 before the season was cancelled.
In 2022, Corrigan coached Casey to their first premiership since the alignment with Melbourne started, he then left to join Geelong as VFL coach.
