The ruckman played three senior matches in the WAFL during 1995, and represented Western Australian in the national under 18 championships before being drafted. Melbourne's Western Australian recruiter had recommended him alongside Jeff Farmer a year earlier, but they waited a year to draft Bradly. North Melbourne also had an interest but Melbourne took Bradly as a long-term project player. He didn't appear in any AFL senior matches for his first two seasons, missing several weeks during 1996 with stress fractures in his foot. He was added to the squad for the Round 16, 1997 match but not selected, and didn't play his first senior game until mid-1998.
Bradly failed to play a senior game in 1999 after injuring his knee. During the year he was placed on the long term injury list and temporarily replaced on the senior list by Ben Beams. At the end of the season he was delisted, then re-drafted as a rookie. He was delisted a second time after a season-ending knee injury in 2000.
He moved to VFL side North Ballarat in 2001, where injury problems again troubled him, but topped the club's goalkicking in 2002. He played with the Roosters until the end of 2003.
