George Stone

Appointed as Midfield & Strategy coach in October 2013 after working as an opposition analyst and development coach with Sydney since 2005.

Stone played 200 VFA games with Camberwell (where he was named in their team of the century), Brunswick and Prahran. He also captained the Hawthorn Under 19's.

He returned to the Hawks in 1984 as an assistant to Under 19's coach Ray Biffin before working as a runner, specialist coach and selector under Allan Jeans. He remained at Hawthorn until 1997 when he joined Sydney under ex-Hawk Rodney Eade.

Returning to Hawthorn as an assistant in 2002, Stone remain there until rejoining the Swans. He served at Melbourne for one season before retiring.
