Athletic tall forward who joined the Demons after training with them at the end of 2001. In his first season he led the Sandringham Reserves goalkicking but struggled with injuries and glandular fever over two years on the list and was delisted.
Carson later played for Geelong West-St Peter's. In 2008 he was named the competition's best player, also leading the league goalkicking in 2007. He played for St Joseph's in 2010
