Former NSW Scholarship player who played 12 matches in three seasons before being delisted by the Crows. His 2013 season had been ended by a broken leg suffered in a Round 15 match. It was only his second match for the year.

After he was cut by the Crows he was signed by Melbourne as a delisted free agent, but started the year on the long term injury list as he recovered from the injury.

The tough midfielder recovered to play nine matches for the season but played four quarters just twice, starting as substitute four times, and being substituted out of the game three further times.

In August 2014 he signed a new contract to stay with the club in 2015, but found himself out of favour in his second season with the club and played only four games in the middle of the season.

He won the Casey Demons Best and Fairest, and the Troy Broadbridge Medal for highest ranking MFC listed player in the award but was delisted at the end of the year. He then returned to SANFL side Sturt, who he had earlier played with when out of the Adelaide side.
