Hungarian born soccer player recruited in 1960 despite only having played 10 games of Australian Rules. At the end of that year he was equal first in the Latrobe Valley League best and fairest, but when interviewed by Hawthorn officials said he wouldn't travel to the city to play league football for at least two years because of his studies.

Returned for the 1961 practice matches, and was given permission to train with St Kilda. Didn't join either side.

At Morwell in 1965 and won the Latrobe Valley League award again, and remained there through 1973.
