Rover who was drafted in to play against Southern Tasmania in 1889. He played 133 games for North Melbourne between 1881 and 1890. Also played three games for St Kilda in 1889.
Joined Geelong in 1891, playing there until 1894.
Houston also played 23 first class cricket games for Victoria.
