The son of Denis Clark finished in the top three of the Eastern Ranges during both his TAC Cup seasons, before joining his father's old club. Clark started his career at Melbourne in the VFL, and after missing much of 2000 with injury he returned to play in Sandringham's Reserves premiership.
Clark made his first appearance for the Demons in an exhibition match at the end of that year. In 2001 he played in the pre-season cup, and was named an emergency several times early in the season but didn't feature in the seniors.
In 2002 Clark broke both his wrists, but eventually debuted in Round 22, 2002. He had been selected as an emergency but was called up to the senior side after two injuries. He kicked a goal in his only game but was delisted at the end of the year. Picked up again through the rookie draft he failed to add to his one senior game. His 2003 season was ended by a ruptured spleen in a VFL match during June.
Clark joined East Perth in 2004 and played there until 2007 but missed 2006. He joined South Bunbury in 2008
