Athletic ruckman who battled a groin injury in his draft year, returning to 13 games in the SANFL Under 18s and one for South Australia in the national underage championship before being drafted. Early in his first season at Melbourne he suffered a pelvis injury that kept him out for the first half of the year. Despite the injury he was re-signed to a second season on the rookie list, keeping him at the club through 2024.
