Career statistics
The son of ex-Carlton/Geelong ruckman Jack Baker Sr joined Melbourne in the 1910 pre-season and played practice matches but didn't appear in a VFL game. He joined a local Geelong team and made his league debut for their senior side two years later, playing there until 1917.
Was also a champion cricketer, playing for the Victorian Country XI against England. He served in the AIF in World War I.
