Ruckman who came through the Under 19s and graduated to the Reserves in 1982. He made his senior debut in 1985 and played four games, followed by 11 the next season. Despite polling six Brownlow Medal votes in 1986 he was sacked in the 1987 pre-season when the club decided it had too many ruckmen.

After a year out of the game he joined Footscray in 1988 and added six more games to his career tally. He then joined Werribee and won their Best and Fairest in 1990, as well as the best on ground award in the 1993 VFA Grand Final.

Also wore number 51 in 1983 and number 49 in 1984 Reserves games
