From: CMS Crows/Woodville-West Torrens/Adelaide, trade for 2013 National Draft selection #23
Number: 23 2014-
Games: 64* (193 total to end 2016)
Goals: 30* (110 total)
Originally drafted by the Crows with pick 32 in the 2005 National Draft, Vince had a slow start to his AFL career with 10 games over two seasons - but from 2008 onwards he was a fixture in Adelaide's midfield. He won the Showdown Medal that year, and Adelaide's best and fairest the next.
Seeking to boost their midfield the Demons used the compensation pick they received for losing Colin Sylvia to Fremantle to land Vince in the 2013 trade period. While the ex-Demon floundered at the Dockers, Vince played every game for the year and was one of his side's best performers - including a season leading performance of 41 possessions against North Melbourne in Round 14.
Despite missing the Round 1, 2015 win over Gold Coast, Vince was his side's best player that year. Used as an attacking tagger for much of the year he won the club's Best and Fairest award as well as receiving the highest Brownlow Medal vote tally of his career.
In 2016 he was more often used as a running defender than a pure midfielder, playing all but one game for the season.
