DOB: 22 January 1946
Three time Richmond premiership player, and former Tigers coach who joined the Demons as Chairman of Selectors in 1981. Richardson played a major role in The Irish Experiment which brought Jim Stynes and Sean Wight to the club. Returned to Richmond as President, then was out of the game in 1986 before joining West Coast in 1987.
He later returned to Melbourne until moving to Carlton at the start of 1998 where he spent two years before resigning and joining Geelong in the same position before the 2000 season.
Also served on the club committee from January 1989 to the end of 1991.
Coached Old Xaverians to VAFA premierships in 1995, 2005 and 2007 as is a life member of that club.
