Experienced ruck who joined Melbourne after being delisted by the Saints at the end of the 2022 AFLW Summer season, despite knowing she would miss the season after suffering a serious knee injury earlier in the year. The former Australian volleyball player was originally picked by Carlton with selection 40 in the 2018 National Draft, before moving to the Saints in the pre-2019 expansion period. She co-captained them in 2020 and 2021.
When Watt played her first game for Melbourne in 2023, she became the oldest player, male or female, ever to debut for Melbourne at 35 years and 311 days. Returned for a second game in Round 10 but was concussed in a first quarter tackle and missed the rest of the year. Was given a one year contract extension at the end of the season and played all 11 games of 2024, before retiring at the end of the year.
