Mature aged defender who was recruited after winning the Collingwood VFL team's best and fairest in 2017. Played 14 games in his first season, excelling when covering for the injured Neville Jetta before a broken collarbone cost him five matches late in the year.

He missed the start of 2020 with a fractured toe, then tore a quad in a gym incident and required surgery that stopped him from playing a game. In the 2021 pre-season he suffered a major knee injury that kept him out for the year. Hore was delisted at the end of the season. He trained with North Melbourne in the 2022 pre-season but a spot on their list, instead playing for both their VFL side and Echuca.

In 2023 he played with VFL side Williamstown, returning to Melbourne at the end of the year as a delisted free agent. He returned to senior football in the second game of 2024, playing three matches before dropping out of the side. Hore returned for the last three games of the season.
