Cleared from the Magpies without playing a game, Craddock played all but one of his matches in 1947 in the Seconds before being promoted to the senior list the next year.
Played as a rover, then as a forward pocket in the 1948 Grand Final victory.
Despite being linked with a move to Prahran in June 1950, he remained on the list until June 1951 when he was cleared to VFA side Northcote.
