Returned to Rosebud after being delisted by Carlton, then joined VFL side Frankston in 1992. Later an assistant at Frankston, senior coach at Somerville and midfield coach for the Dandenong Stingrays before graduating to the top job. Coached Dandenong to a TAC Cup flag in 2018.
