Rover who played seven matches for Richmond before being cleared to VFA side Yarraville in 1950. He joined the Demons in the 1951 pre-season, but despite kicking a goal a game he was never on the winning side in four matches in red and blue.

Webb was dropped from the senior list during the 1952 pre-season, and joined Box Hill. He was there in 1952, and again from 1954 to 1955 with a stint as captain/coach of Donald in between. Was then captain/coach of The Rock in 1956, and of North Footscray 1960 and 1961.

He later moved to Footscray as an administrator where he served until resigning in 1977, and is a life member of the Western Bulldogs.

Notes
There is a suggestion he was in the Seconds for two seasons before debuting. This may be combined service between Richmond and Melbourne with a stint at Yarraville in the middle.
