Lured to Moe after kicking 10 goals in a game for Neerim South he repeated the feat on debut with his new club and was soon invited to join the Demons. The half-forward flanker/winger graduated from the 1934 Seconds side to make his senior debut the next year, and after appearing in the last two games of the season returned to the Seconds to play in a flag.
He remained on the senior list until early 1937 when he was cleared to Hawthorn. Feltscheer played 43 games for them, 42 between 1937 and 1940 when he retired. He played a final match for the Mayblooms in Round 5, 1943 before giving the game away for good.
Feltscheer lived to 102-years-old, one of only a few ex-Melbourne players to reach the milestone.

Notes
Usually spelt Feltschier in Football Record during his time with Melbourne, but also spelt Feltscher some times. From Warragul High School but not sure if he played there.
