Career statistics

Trained with Melbourne in the 1984 pre-season but were out-bid by Collingwood, who offered $10,000 for his services.

He was at the Pies until 1987, then at Essendon. Retired in early 1992 after being struck in the throat, before being re-drafted by the Pies in the 1992 Mid-Season draft. Played four further games for the Pies in 1992 and 1993.

Later named in the Old Melburnians Team of the Century.
