Christopher Henry "Harry" Parkin debuted with Geelong, with whom his brother Jack played, before crossing to the Redlegs after two matches.

The half-back flanker in the 1900 premiership side, and was a regular until 1906 when he only managed one game before retiring.

He played the second most games for the club in history without kicking a goal.

Joined the club's committee in 1926 and served as a VFL delegate that year. From 1932 until his death he served as Treasurer of the VFL and was Manager of the Victorian state side in Adelaide during 1936.
