Christopher Henry "Harry" Parkin debuted with Geelong, with whom his brother Jack played, before crossing to the Redlegs after two matches.

The half-back flanker in the 1900 premiership side, and was a regular until 1906 when he only managed one game before retiring. Missed the last few games of the 1903 season after suffering an ankle injury in an exhibition game.

He played the second most games for the club in history without kicking a goal.

Joined the club's committee in 1926 and served as a VFL delegate that year. From 1932 until his death he served as Treasurer of the VFL and was Manager of the Victorian state side in Adelaide during 1936.
