Reserves Leading Goalkicker - 1998
The All-Australian Under 17 forward was the Crows first draft pick (#15) in the 1995 National Draft after kicking five goals in a half for Vic Metro. He spent 1996 at West Adelaide where he showed promise. Played the first seven games of 1997 and then was dropped never to return to the Crows side again. At the end of the 1997 season Williams was traded to Melbourne along with Matthew Collins for Nathan Bassett.
Williams wore number 39 in 1998 but failed to play a senior match despite topping the reserves goalkicking with 40. He was cut at the end of that year and joined Cranbourne in 1999 before moving to the VFL for two seasons with Frankston.
In 2002 he rejoined his junior club Noble Park in the EFL and stamped himself as a prolific goalkicker. Still playing in 2006 he booted 25 goals in a reserves game.
