Follower who played a single game for Richmond in 1912 for two goals before missing two years due to army service. He later served in the First World War from January 1916.

Salvado returned to the VFA with Northcote and Hawthorn before re-emerging with the Demons in 1919 and playing five games in the first half of the season as a half-forward.The next year he joined Ferntree Gully and played there in 1920 and 1921.
