One of the Greater Western Sydney underage selections who joined before the club entered the AFL. He played in their inaugural team, and in 65 matches over the club's first four seasons before being traded to the Demons.
Played 18 games in his first year, and 10 in 2017 before receiving a six match ban for striking Sydney's Callum Mills which ended his season. The next year he only played three games, kicking a career high four goals in Round 3 against North Melbourne but only appeared in one more game before being dropped for the remainder of the year.
Bugg was delisted at the end of 2018 and subsequently drafted by Carlton as a rookie. He retired before the start of the 2019 season.
