Speedy forward from Melbourne's Next Generation Academy system, taken with the club's last pick in the draft after playing in a TAC Cup premiership. Spent all of 2019 with Casey Demons. He played the opening round of the 2020 senior season but appeared in only one more match. Didn't play a senior game in 2021, before returning to the squad as substitute for the opening round of 2022.

Eight of Bedford's games in 2022 were as an unused medical substitute, which he came on mid-match in two others. Played in Casey's 2022 VFL premiership side. At the end of the year he requested a trade to Greater Western Sydney, and was exchanged for 2022 National Draft selection #44.
