Paul Rouvray

DOB: 18 April 1972

Games: 0 (21 total)
Goals: 0 (2 total)

From: Seaview High School/Glenelg, Selection #25, 1989 National Draft

Key position forward or back drafted as a 17-year-old after being named an All-Australian Teal Cup player.

Declined to join Melbourne as he wished to stay at home and play in the SANFL while waiting for Adelaide to enter the competition. He was signed by the Crows for the inaugural season, but didn't play his first game until 1992. He then played 21 games over three years before requiring a knee reconstruction in 1994.

He didn't play a game in 1995 and was traded to Sydney where he didn't play a game. The deal nearly didn't happen when six years after originally being drafted by Melbourne, Rouvray expressed an interest in joining the Demons. In order to keep him from going to Sydney, Adelaide traded Anthony Ingerson to Melbourne. Rouvray didn't play a game for the Swans in 1996, returning to Glenelg and playing there until the end of 1999.
