Follower who trained with Melbourne, Richmond, and Essendon in the 1947 pre-season before settling on the Tigers. He played there until 1951.
The Demons sought to interview him again in 1952 after he left Richmond but he turned down interest from them, St Kilda and Fitzroy to take the job as coach of Warracknabeal instead. He coached them to a premiership in 1953 but was removed by a new committee at the end of the season.
