At 197 centimetres tall, the 17-year-old was drafted as a future key position forward. Played Reserves, as well as school football for Melbourne High School, in 1993 but was delisted at the end of the season. At Springvale from 1994 through 1998, then played in four premierships for Northcote Park, then Orbost before coaching Glenroy. Appointed Director of Junior coaching at Glenroy in 2018.
