Career statistics

Defender who played practice games with Melbourne in 1937. He'd previously been with Leongatha Imperials in 1931, 1932 and 1935, and Oakleigh in 1935. He wasn't signed by Melbourne, and returned to Morwell. Played there until mid-1939 when he joined Richmond. He'd earlier won the Central Gippsland League best and fairest, and stayed with the Tigers until the end of 1945. He won a premiership in 1943.

In 1946 he moved to Tasmania and captain/coached City South for two years. In 1950 he played three games with Cornwall.
